One Way Bearings Roller Type Freewheel Backstop Clutch
Features of GFR Freewheel Clutch Bearings
The GFR...F1F2/F2F7 and GFRN...F5F6 are roller-type freewheels that are self-contained, sealed, and come with
built-in bearing support, utilizing two 160... series bearings.
If supplied disassembled, the units must be lubricated with oil before use. These freewheels are primarily used as
overrunning or indexing clutches. The cover configuration is selected based on the drive type, as detailed in the
following pages.
Covers F2 and F6 seal the unit and feature three screws for oil filling, drainage, and level checking. The shaft is
sealed with a standard lip seal. Covers can be easily installed by a qualified technician, allowing the rotation
direction to be set on-site. Alternatively, units can be supplied fully assembled and pre-lubricated (except for
GFRN...F5F6).
